Shutter Sound-Off
Let's make a memory, with the sound of shutters.
My young mind can see I want you and no other.
Get past the nature-like green and browns.
Sky blue princess, your lips are my crown.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A chapter in time is a book in a series.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A camera catching memories.
I've got jagged fingernails from my constant worry.
Its a fairytale beginning, they can wait, please don't hurry.
Scratch-out paper thoughts, too-good-to-be-true.
Thinking outside the box of all the good I do.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A chapter in time is a book in a series.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A camera catching memories.
If I stay another moment, I think I might go crazy.
The bad times seem to go by quicker, when you're with me, baby.
Am I trying too hard to rhyme?
To learn paticence, I think I'll need more time.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A chapter in time is a book in a series.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A camera catching memories.
Like when the dentist gives me lollipops,
and I tell him I could do his job.
A hint of New Jersey in my voice.
But right now, your environment isn't your choice.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A chapter in time is a book in a series.
It isn't a job if you love what you do.
A camera catching memories.
