a little free spirit where it's due.
She gags at the thought of drinking day-old milk.
She can't stand homemade bread.
But she can tell you the difference between -
homegrown and processed.
Small town girl, raised like it's the city.
Her hair's in a mess, but that dress looks so pretty.
A wilting flower in her hair and some designer jeans.
Oldies on the radio, part of the local scene.
It may take her years, but she'll get it done.
She'll get it done, she's never broke a promise.
It may take her months, but she'll figure it out.
She'll get those priorities...straight - somehow.
With an exposed shoulder to the wild wind,
she sways along, she sings along - to the currents.
'It's still winter for a few more months...'
'And your calender only means so much...'
