Blue Sky
You asked why I stared into space in such a way.
I was simply admiring the sky.
—
And if I were to say that blue’s my favorite color…
Maybe it’s gray; perhaps I lied.
—
So you’ll have to take their word for it…
That colors are just fractions of sunlight.
—
Rainbows are just figments of imagination
and colors in the dark - all black and white.
