The Moth
Radiating heat like summer asphalt.
Skin sweat trickle like a salty raindrop from my knee.
A moth, so stupidly.
No! Idiotically!
Slams itself, repeatedly against the lightbulb.
Keep trying, I know eventually something will happen..
Sure, let's go with that.
It'll turn into a open window to daytime.
Its 1am, stupid insect.
You are an insect right? Moths? or is it mothes?
Flick. Hot. Flick. Hot.
Dead. Burnt. Oh, stupid moth.
