Writing Styles
You always wroteShort
Quick
Sentences
Moving quickly
Threw topics
Period after Period
End after end
Yet never gaining
Any meaning
In the words that you write
I, on the other hand,
Am much more fond
Of the semicolon
Letting my sentences grow
There are times were they could have been ended
But they weren't
When we tried to write our novel
Our two forms of writing combined
But your periods overpowered mine
My semicolons left to die
The pages shredded
Our short story ended
Left me clinging to the hope
That I could go back and revise
