Sonnet 001
My heart was once so innocent and pureNow it's full of bitterness and evil
I thought our love was so young yet mature
But now it's trapped, far from an eagle
My life is now not my own, it's not free
But iron bars make not this cage of mine
It is all your idiosyncrasies
I will sit in the dark and drink my wine
Getting drunk to the point of no return
What's the point when there is no love for me
My lifeless eyes look towards yours for concern
Pupils screaming out hate is all I see
Why dont you come back and we start anew
Your name on my arm, a bloody tattoo
