    Inside the Lies That Lie in the Photographes

     I can see her smile
    I can see her laugh
    She's happy
    She's "happy"

    But what lies lie inside
    Those photographes
    Behind her smile
    Behind her laugh

    The bruises don't show
    The scares have healed

    I can see her smile
    I can see her laugh
    But she's hurting
    But she's "happy"

    In those photographes
    She is alive
    In those photographes
    She is not in pain

    Her past did not happen
    Her abuse never came
    Her life has been captured
    Her life has been saved

    Inside the lies that lie in the photographes
