    Why I Kissed You

     I would watch her laugh
    And how she would smile
    Unashamed and fearless

    So I kissed her
    In hopes that I may too
    Be as strong as her
    In hopes that as our lives intertwined
    So to would our strength

    Our scarred skin
    And heavy souls
    Had no bearing
    No affect
    On this momenent
