    Staring at the Sky

     I was alone last night
    Staring at the sky
    When the sparkle
    I used to see in your eye
    Flew by
    My mind started to race
    My heart began to flutter

    But my eyes began to flood
    And spill over
    When I realized
    I could no longer
    Hold your hand in mine
