Shadow
The pulsating endbeyond the means
leaves you trembling for more.
You groan,
you whine,
you plead.
Your ceaseless hunger
shall drive you down.
Your pathetic attempts
shall isolate you.
The darkness crawls upon your skin,
through your veins it creeps.
It shall engorge you
and consume you whole.
The creaking floorboards break,
under your weight they falter.
Your lies add more substance
until you're drowning in obscurity.
