Escape
Sitting all alone,
on a stretch of beige rounded grains.
Digging your feet into the smooth sands.
Sea salt,
swept by the wind,
lands delicately on your face.
Lapping waves
caress your ears
like a baby's lullaby.
The taste of the infinite ocean
sits in your mouth,
tempting you to assimilate.
As the sun sets,
the moon chases it down,
and the blue and orange shimmering water
transforms into a vibrating sea of black and white.
Close your eyes on the sight,
let your mind wander,
and melt into the nothingness;
for the end approaches,
and all will soon change.
