Rules
Our ashes fall like snowupon the beating hearts of those we know.
Disowning all prior existence
and despising our own presence.
We sense the darkness
and feel only emptiness.
The siren's bludgeoning call
coaxing us to our fall.
The deafening cries
of all the spoken lies
reverberate in our souls
like echoes in empty holes.
The message is clear,
they understand only fear.
Trepidation is seen in them
like light inside a priceless gem.
Our bodies now rot
in this forever accursed spot.
Reality melts throughout
and time is overwhelmed by doubt.
