One Who Once Was
You say you're in this place. You can't even imagine it.
You say you want to be like me.
Nobody would want to be this way.
You act as though its nothing,
but its so very crucial.
You go around and announce it like a parade.
There should be no pride in this.
You treat this as if its a game.
Its our lives, not your's.
Every time you do something
it hurts me.
It hurts me,
that you you think this is a joke.
Whats wrong with me
is something very serious.
You make a mockery of it,
and thus a mockery of me.
You seem to know everything,
when in reality you know nothing.
You complain of being called childish,
yet thats all you act like.
You bring all your problems to me,
but are never there for me.
I trust you with the intricacies of my life,
and you lie about your's in return.
You try so hard to be the best,
but inferiority has you in it's grasp.
You believe you're my best friend,
but you're barely an acquaintance.
You are so clingy and so needy,
but have no reason for being so.
You were once the only one,
but now you're nothing.
