                       There were times, where my heart felt like ice

                      Where giving up crossed my mind, once or twice 

                           Then I think of, the times we've shared 

                        Bringing me to reality, and the feeling of care

                             Senseless arguments, words of rage 

                           Two grown people, not acting their age 

                      Saying things to each other, we really don't mean 

                              Restless nights, can't even dream 

                       Yet I know that my heart, only belongs to you 

                               Me without you, what would I do 

                           Closing my eyes, remembering your scent 

                               Your smile, voice, all times spent 

                               Me plus you, a beautiful equation  

                          Constantly in my thoughts, mental evasion  

                              Praying to God, for physical strength

                          Knowledge and wisdom, to travel the length

                               Of life with you, the best I can be

                            Hoping you know, the best I can be is me

                     Because no matter what, you take my coldness away

                         And the warmth you bring, I pray forever to stay
