My Destiny
I fight with gravity, trying to find my destinyIt's pulling me down, taking strength from me
Down this road I journey, eyes set on a goal
Strive for what you believe in, I've always been told
So many hills to cross, my legs hurt so bad
Nothing in hand, yet I carry this bag
Everything is passing me by, moving so fast
I hunger, I thirst, how long will I last
At the edge of water, I've missed my ship
So across the seven seas I swing, with pride I live
Out on this ocean, destiny I seek
Searching for my purpose, is making me weak
But there has to be reason, God has a plan
So I can't give up, to find it I demand
Feet on the ground, there's relief and the sky's now blue
Because after searching over thirty years, I've learned my destiny is you
