As I
Water rushes over my feet, as I pace the beach
Looking into the sky, hoping for things out of my reach
The ocean breeze is moist, i can feel it's mist
Like feeling the blessings, of an Angels kiss
The night is clear, the moon is full
Dip my hands into the water, until they're full
I can feel the sand leave from my feet, when the waves pull back
Closing my eyes to speak to God, I ask
"Does it get easier, the loneliness I feel"
"Some times I feel weak, yet and still"
"I continue to stand, please help me to see"
"What I'm to do, help me to rest peacefully"
In the back of my head, I can hear someone speak
"Worry not for I am here, I hold you when weak"
"It gets easier, life is my journey for you"
"Never are you alone, I will always see you through"
"Clearly you will see, just open your eyes"
"Peacefully you will rest, for I hear your cries"
The voice was gone, my heart was at ease
I could feel the water on my waist, I had fallen to my knees
No longer do I feel, things are out of my reach
A calm came across me, as I paced this beach
