Her Heart
Her heart, so precious and warm.. Beaten battered, endured many storms.. So i stand as a man, to protect and preserve.. To offer the love, she so deserves.. Extending my hand, to guide her away..From the games, the me of her past had once played.. Her heart to me, is a glowing gem.. The life line of a rose, being the stem.. I know there are many, but this heart I hear calling.. So I open my arms, prevent her from falling.. Her heart, I can keep warm when it's cold.. Show her a love beautiful, and untold.. Something real, not from a fairy tale story.. But one she can call her own, cherish the glory.. For her heart, I would lay down and die.. I would prevent pain, and only I would cry.. I would take all bad, just so that she receives good.. Go to any lengths to make life perfect, if I could.. I would be her sight, when it's to dark to see.. ANd for once she would see, her heart is safe with me..
