Silence
Shhh silence, yet I speak out loud
Upset with things, still so proud
Soft gentle kisses, lips never touch
Never to be, but it's such a must
Body says no, mind says yes
Eyes wide open, even when closed to rest
Shhh silence, says so much
Reaching for things, never to touch
Time healed wound, still it bleeds
Stopping in step, advance to proceed
Days pass by, clock stands still
Trapped and bound, such free will
Silence so loud, all ears to hear
Strong and brave, so much to fear
Standing still, but move in circles
Feels so good, yet oh so hurtful
Calm in mind, rage in violence
Shhh hear that, out loud speaks silence
