    His Battle

                                     Trying to catch my breath
                                Feels like I'm stuck under water
                                    Energy gone, nothing left
                              Life only seems to be getting harder

                                              Struggling,
                             Trying so hard to reach for the light
                                    Feel my heart fumbling
                                 Holding on with all my might

                                       Life is moving to fast
                                     I feel I'm losing my way
                                        I'm losing my grasp
                                         I struggle to stay

                                     All that I've worked for
                                        Gone in an instant
                                  I need a chance, once more
                               Life... I seemed to have missed it

                                       What's a man to do
                              When he's trapped in a world of sin
                                With no one to see him through
                                How does it end, let alone begin

                                         What does he do
                               Everyday in search of an answer
                                   How does he keep his cool
                             Even during his battle with cancer
