With Love
With Love
She's seen him before but he never speaks,
Always hidden in the shadows; but his smile makes her knees weak.
She noticed he was watching her with hunger in his eyes,
But he never approaches her; he just walks on by.
Then it happened so quickly; but inside she just knew,
The way her body reacted to his closeness,
She now has to wonder; was it the same for you?
I wanted you that night and I'm still unsure as to why,
Your smile was so inviting, and you wore no disguise,
You were just yourself so real from the start,
You weren't trying to play games, or out to break my heart.
Now we both want to keep it casual; and just enjoy each other for a while,
And so far it seems to be working, and I enjoy your touch, your company, your smile.
I have to tell you; your kisses leave me longing, and your touch drives me insane,
I find I'm thinking of you often, you're even in my dreams.
You know it seems to find you when you least expect it,
A new friendship can develop if we just let it,
As your friend there's a joy in my heart I wouldn't hesitate to share,
And there's nothing I wouldn't do for you, for I'm a friend that truly cares.
You know there's no denying the physical attraction, but I want to know you more,
But on another level, an intellectual one, cause I know with you there's much more in store.
