Only time will tell if this love is real;
Or even if it's meant to be,
But I feel like I have been waiting a lifetime already;

Sometimes in life there are things worth waiting for;
And though the days seem so very long,
But the things that we've shared and my time spent with you,

I know that you're busy and your time is limited;

I know they say that God has a plan; for all of us in life,
I just wish I knew if mine was to be with you,
And for us to share each others burdens and strife.

Many in life don't get a chance to share a life, a love, a dream,
But my wish for us is to get that chance,
A chance to be, all that we can be.

But I only want to be with you;
and share the rest of my years,
Loving you and being with you;
for You are the one that I hold dear.
