Loudest Silence
Loudest Silence
We started out in friendship
Sharing with our words
Telling each other of our painful past
And of the future and dreams to come
But I guess I read things wrong
And shared to much for him
For now he falls to silence
And I’m left hanging in the wind
I won’t lie and say it don’t hurt
But the worst part of all
Is that I simply miss talking to him
Only now he hides behind his wall
We all have dealt with things in life
Loss of a loved one, illness, and heart ache
But we have to deal and let go
If we don’t we get stuck
To scared to live again
Unwilling to move, unable to grow
I can’t do anything but be who I am
I shouldn’t have to prove I could love you best
If it were meant to be you would feel it
I guess this was just another test.
