Waiting For You
Your leaving,
And I want you to stay,
I'm attached to you now,
Whether I want to be or not,
I am,
I wait for you to call,
To hear your voice,
And I yearn for your touch,
To see your face,
Even once in a great while,
But it seems that no matter how hard I try,
I always end up back in your arms,
I used to push you away,
Ignore you,
And say I wanted nothing to do with you,
But it was all a lie,
To cover up the feelings I have for you,
The ones I hide in the locked suitcase,
That lies in my black and deadened heart,
But it started beating again today,
The dead parts are re-growing,
Into tissue I can actually use,
To keep my self going,
So I'll wait for you,
You promised to come back for me when i graduate,
And plant a promise breaker ring upon my finger,
I'll be waiting for you to keep your promise,
I have your necklace,
So you'll have to come back eventually
And I want you to stay,
I'm attached to you now,
Whether I want to be or not,
I am,
I wait for you to call,
To hear your voice,
And I yearn for your touch,
To see your face,
Even once in a great while,
But it seems that no matter how hard I try,
I always end up back in your arms,
I used to push you away,
Ignore you,
And say I wanted nothing to do with you,
But it was all a lie,
To cover up the feelings I have for you,
The ones I hide in the locked suitcase,
That lies in my black and deadened heart,
But it started beating again today,
The dead parts are re-growing,
Into tissue I can actually use,
To keep my self going,
So I'll wait for you,
You promised to come back for me when i graduate,
And plant a promise breaker ring upon my finger,
I'll be waiting for you to keep your promise,
I have your necklace,
So you'll have to come back eventually
