The nothingness that surrounds us
Let the blood drip from my veinThese urges I can no longer contain
Decayed flesh all around myself
You're on the pedestal up on the shelf
Leaving you behind is my lonesome song
This life no longer in me is strong
How can I tell you that I've failed
My train off the tracks, derailed
Pull the pins from my bleeding heart
Set my death in motion, make it a start
Consumed by the nothingness all around
My true self will never be found
But all is good in my mind and soul
Ever restricting me is my pole
Pushing you further and further away
Cast into thee dark to live as a stray
Bodies surrounding one anothers space
The passion can never be erased
It's only just begun
All in all this should be fun
Yet I can only ponder the questions in your eyes
Your dreams, hopes, and deceitful lies
Wrap yourself around my skin and become one
Let me take away the pain and become numb
Cast me aside into the shadows of hell
Become nothing but a man out of his shell
Striken to walk alone nude with all the pondering people
Lay me upon my steeple
Waiting for you to pull me back in
Around us all consumed by sin
Something so wrong feeling so dam good
That life and that the way it should
