The Blowing Wind

Poem Commentary

Another poem written for my donor!

The Blowing Wind

As the wind blows, comes a new dawn
Life as innocent as a grazing fawn
The tree growing with every cool rain
Days so peaceful you don't notice the pain

Birds chirping, and nursing their young
For natures violin is tightly strung
Playing the sweet melody of gods creation
The warm feeling is a wonderful sensation

Forever growing with everyday passing
Like like an hour glass, never lasting
The tree forever growing and blooming
For the rains and sun it's always consuming

We are the sturdy tree's that we see
Nutrients and happiness fill us with glee
Our minds and hearts always growing with every person we meet
For companionship is what we all seek

Someone to talk with, and to lean on in our darkest hour
So to you Stacy, is where I find my power
To grow bigger as a person deep inside
So our friendship will never subside

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
