The Fire Deep Inside
The fire of hell is deep inside, still burning, still burningMy veins quenching the thirst of the Lord
Sins have forced me to live in the dark, fearing the light
I'm weak and tired, my body slowly withering
For the wrath of God has become my doorstep
The fire of hell is deep inside, still burning, still burning
My eyes are starting to burn, as I see my sinful ways
Darkness has now over shadowed me
I reach for you, and find nothing
For now I'm blind, but still see the flickering flames of hell
The fire of hell is deep inside, still burning, still burning
My nose has now smelt the pungent smell of death
I feel my time is near the end
My senses failing with every soul that gets carried away
Blood runs profusely out of my nose running down my battered body
The fire of hell is deep inside, still burning, still burning
I hear the screams of the weak
Blood curdling yelps with the whipping on the decayed flesh
Sounds getting louder and louder
For sure, I've entered my final hour
The fire of hell is deep inside, still burning, still burning
I have kept my faith in God
For now he has sent you
To give me my wings, to fly away
To live another painless day
