Stop Showing Off Yourself Girl.
Don't walk on my back to reach where you're going girl,
Think you are that so big, and the biggest thing in this world?
We were great friends and so cool together, 'till you found that stupid job,
Please don't think you are so different, for I use to pick up all your tabs.
Suddenly you're this big, big thing and you've become so high,
That if we're having an little chat like old times it seems I have to fly?
To reach your height upon the pedestal that you have placed yourself,
Never mind that guy you've got will stack you on a shelf.
You think because of your big job you are up in society?
Don't be stupid little girl just go and leave me be!
I have been there before and sure I know myself,
I know if you lose your job, you become just like a little elf.
Now you start to party and drink from early night 'till late
And so you start to gamble too, and throw away your faith?
All the money spent in bars and in the casino
All you have is an empty purse and nothing else to show?
You'll return to your former size, when there's no cause to exalt,
Especially when you start to blame and say who is at fault,
When your job is pulled away and your friendships start to shrink,
And you start to pawn your gold and prized coats made of mink.
You may become humble and discover who your true friends are,
When they start to 'diss' you, such friendships don't go far,
Especially when you lose your car and start taking the bus,
They'll dis-appear quickly, one by one and without any fuss!
Hey big shot girl! It seems that I've prophesied !
Where the pretty clothes you had last week and the car keys?
Where's the car? You look so filthy! Are you taking crack?
Get away with your dirty self, oh that chinky smell, step back!!!
Go and get a shower at the nearest public bath,
And let us have a conversation, talking heart to heart.
You'll never cease to learn life's lessons the toughest of life's ways,
This time I hope my counsel helps, so be humble, think and pray.
