Irresistible Love Defined
"I love you so much honey!", the woman exclaimed,
"I love you too baby", her husband proclaimed,
These can be words of emptiness and easy to say,
And I'll show you some examples in the language of today.
Many people claim to know the meaning of true love,
But can they it's elusive meaning define or elements prove?
For many love is being defined as just destiny,
When one has found a mate and find them pleasing mutually.
Some are wrapped up in love so soothing, saturating the emotions sufficiently,
Is this the love you seek my friend that invigorates the inner being?
Or is it the one when challenges come flies away like eagles wings?
Tell me your version of love,
Is it based on any of the above?
Of course, there is all kinds of love today,
The love in our society of which you easily pay.
Then there's love that you get for being prominent,
Big cars, lots of money and fine suits, that high society represents.
Of course it's easy to see that love, for it is easily bought,
It does not give true devotion and fulfillment that it ought.
Love is great consolation and uniting for all of those,
Who believe in it's authenticity, that it cannot be superimposed,
A love that is not flaky or convenient,
One that needs no purchase, one you cannot rent,
Even though we see the new defititions of love today,
Paraded on the movie screens with astonishing foreplays,
Then we hear the utterances of ,"oh I love you honey",
Followed by the popular phrase, "May I have some money?"
So you see my friend, the love of today,
Is based upon conditions of how much you can pay,
Surely genuine love is certainly hard to find,
Love that is compelling, love that's truly kind,
Sometimes it's not worth it to search for love, it's true,
But when you are less searching, true love will find you.
Surely, love's true meaning is different to us one and all,
True love makes you honest, and your sincerity stands tall
When all the money worldly wealth are gone and you're in tears,
friends and aquaintances disappear, that you have known for years.
To me Love is a divine principle to have for the one you love, your spouse and family,
This one is one of truth, with no room for instability,
Love thats is so pure, the one that a child relates,
The one that friends and family unconditionally reciprocate.
And it's the love a village shows to everybody's child,
Protecting them from danger and from growing wild,
love without boundaries of class, color or creed,
A love of inner beauty that's void of all personal greed,
Selfishness has no part of love, the Devil is it's master,
love mingled with selfcentered dreams is a recipe for disaster.
So I'm saying to the purveyors of all the junk that feed our minds,
That without God there is no true love and love you'll never find.
Since God is love, when wrapped up in Him, you can give love and experiences never seen,
When you have that genuine love it assimilates to your genes.
One must never be secured in love that's prototype,
That love will just evaporate like smoke from a flaming pipe.
