    My Distant Star

    I watch you from afar,

    A sparkling distant star.

    You'll never know my name,

    But I love you all the same.

     

    No matter what you do,

    To yourself you're always true.

    One look into your eyes

    Fills my heart with sighs.

     

    Every night it seems

    I see you in my dreams.

    Even though you'll never know me,

    I know we're meant to be.

     

    You may be in my heart

    But we live a world apart.

    But I'll travel every mile

    For your voice, your eyes, your smile.

     

    I'll never be with you -

    I accept this to be true.

    But I'll watch you from afar,

    My beautiful love, my star.
