There is something about your eyes
That remind me of something I had a while ago.
I hope you don't catch me staring at you.
Because if you look into my eyes you will already know.
When I see a smile on your face,
You cause a reaction to put a smile on mine.
Although you say you are over weight,
Inside and out I see you as being fine.
Just to hear your voice on the phone
Can brighten up my day.
There is nothing you can do to make me mad.
No matter what you may say.
Although we are good friends
I would like to cross that line.
I hope you realize I can treat you better
Then all the rest of those of my kind.
Instead I will have to accept
The fact you may be running from love.
That’s O.k. You’ll someday say,
“What was I really scared of?”
But back to your light brown eyes
And what I always see.....
You help me remember happiness.
