Because the only reason why I trip is because of my past.
It's been a long time since I found a love like you

Yes, I been hurt many times but only once with a love like this.

It's just your remind me of my heart and trust that at one time I had.
That's a good thing but the memory, also, made me sad.

And I’m sorry because I over exaggerated the whole damn deal.
If I could I would take back everything that was done.
Wake up another Sunday and start back at one.
Our love just scared me to the point to find something wrong.
I didn't realize until I started to drive away that you could have been gone.
Just thinking about makes me want to call you now.
To tell you that I love you and I will always show you how.
To marry you would be my pleasure and I will not hesitate.
Our love is strong enough and it does not have to wait.
We will not be one of those couples that they say, "It's about damn time."
Or, "They have been through enough. They should have." no not mine.
I know we will have our problems just like relationships should be.
And we may have our small arguments, smack me if it's because of me. 
I don't ever want to get mad at you for anything because you show respect as your man.
