Life Goes On
I open my eyes to a day I never seen.
My vision is blurred by the light and my sight is not keen.
Another day shall begin and closer to my final light.
Another day will end for me to see another night.
As I watch the birds pass in front of the bright orange sun,
I remind myself of the thought, “Are you the only one’s?”
Then the day will pass away like most of my time will pass.
And I will see the sunset and watch it as if it was my last.
The bright orange and purple embrace me with it’s love and might.
I will treasure the day to see it end with a full moon bright.
With the light of the moon that will gleam down upon me,
And another day will pass. So when will it be?
My life will end and it will finish another sad song.
But until my final day my life goes on.
