I watch a sunset like I am watching life,

Always passing me by.

But the sun will always be

And probably will never die.

I will make my mistakes,

A human I will always be.

If I walk with God at all times,

Will he always help me?

The sun lives on with no problems,

And it does it everyday.

Sometimes the clouds step in,

But it is back the very next day.

That sunshine shows me hope

Which I need in my heart and mind.

Sunshine shows me that

God is always kind

My mind may be weak,

By my soul is oh-so-strong.

And since I have hope

God said I would live long.

So I hold my head high

Because I can see the next day.

Life is what I make it

And I will make it my way.
