Good morning, Lord. Hello again.
That’s how I started off my day.

But at least I did stopped to pray.
Well, Lord this is my problem
I started to continue on.

The problems are still here
And they just won’t go away.
My job and relationships are on the rocks
And I’m crying everyday.
Every time I need you
I call on your name.
But the outcome of the situation,
It always remains the same.
I pray for patience and for it all of it to cease.
But instead of stopping
My problems start to increase!
Lord, I’m getting lonely and there’s no one here.
Where are all my friends when I need them?
I’m waiting for them to lend their ear.
I try to do well by you and always have good faith.
And like they say, “Trust in Him.
And a way He will always make.

Sounds like to me your making a mistake.
And when was the last time you spoke to me?
Try about a week ago, when you cried a river.
Over something that could never be.
Oh yeah, I heard you ask for patience
But you get upset because you have a trial.
You need to read your word, son, so you can understand.
Because patience is learned from tribulations for a while.

But, Lord, I put you first in everything that I do.

Now, are you sure about that?
That sounds like something new.

When I blessed you with that new job
And you were happy for that time.
Did you come back to church and pay your tithes?
So I can have mine?
When I blessed you with a mate to love.
And I gave you someone to talk to.
When it came to Sunday morning
For some reason I didn’t see neither of you.
And who is your friend that is always there
Whenever you need to call?
You put me to the side when things are good
And I’m the only one that picks you up when you fall.

I know, you want to apologize.
My child, you’ve already been forgiven
But please open your eyes.
Do not put your faith in the living.

Not Tim, Jack, Stacy or Sue.

Because I have loved you more than them.
