    My Thanks To you

Now what I wanted to tell you tonight….
Was about my tribulations and trails.
And what I wanted to tell you tonight….
Was about my crying times and smiles.
And then I wanted to mention….
About my life and all the pain.
And then I would tell you….
About the goodness of Jesus name.
But that’s not what I really wanted to tell you tonight.
    Not right about now.
I am about to switch it up and change it.
    Just for a little while.
You see I have to give props to someone deserves it.
After, of course, my parents and the Lord.
Understand that we see things a little different
But still meet on one accord.
So for my first reading ever
In front of a big crowd.
I would like to thank someone special to me, if you don’t mind.
    Right here and aloud.
We don’t share the same bloodline.
But I do call her my sister.
And even when I’m out without her.
I have the tendency to start to miss her.
And the way she carries herself.
Sometimes I say she her head can get big.
But whenever we start to play fight
I’ll laugh, because she’ll threaten to take off her wig.
My sister, Myyy, sister, my sister.
But in reality we are just best friends.
I pray that we can stay like that forever.
This type of love has no ends.
She supported me when I needed.
Offered a shoulder when I had heartbreak and tear.
And although everyone say’s we should get together,
    Our friendship I hold dear.
    Myyyy sister.
So for my first reading aloud
In front of this whole crowd.
I will say thank you my sister.
And you always make me proud.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
