The life
Long lazy kisses underneath the whispering willows,
On a feathery soft blanket, I lay my head on a pillow.
You cover my body with your own,
As we explore secret places unknown.
I stand before you, your blushing bride,
In a pearl white dress, and radiating pride.
You lift my veil for a kiss,
The secrets it holds, tells of wedded bliss.
On a hospital bed, with family around,
Our baby is born, and joy abounds.
Swaddled in a blanket of pink, with eyes as blue as any ocean
I look at her father, eyes so full of emotion
You give away your daughter,
To the man, who will love her.
As she stands at the altar,
You know her love will never falter.
We sit and watch the sun set, our hair thin and gray
We know what some people will say, That our lives were cliche
We sit, and retell our story,
And know we have reached our final glory.
