Never Be
Eloquent with words,I've never been,
Smart,
I've never known
Such a feeling,
Sorry won't get us
Anywhere,
Uncomfortable silence
Is more than I
Can take,
Is it so wrong
To feel offended
Once in a while?
Metophorically brilliant,
Something I'll
Never be,
However, I know
What it means
To hint towards
Something bigger,
The picture all together,
I've never really
Been able to see
The masterpiece
In it's entierty,
Not when I'm staring
At one single corner,
Hoping to change
The rest,
A rippling current
In an unmoving
Pool of water,
If I duck my head
Under, it would
Be so much better
If I would drown,
Let go of
Pent up feelings,
I've come to find
That you were really
The only one
I could trust, we may
Have never known
Each other as deeply
As others think
Or know they do
Breaking points
can only go so high
On such a fragile
Climb,
Sorry doesn't work,
Yet I find myself
Mumbling them frequently
I've upset you it seems,
My true intentions,
Always covered up
Behind false facades
Smart,
Something I've never
Been,
A true friend,
Something I will
Never be.
