Heartless
I’ve been wanderingAround wondering
Exactly what is
Buried deep in
This blackened heart,
Faith, she’s
Never been with me
Pain is all I see,
Try and stop
The flow
As long as this
Heart beats,
Only for keeping
You alive,
Then you won’t
Need those painful
Attachments
You won’t feel it
When your stabbed
In the back
By the best of
Friends,
The searing heat
Of love will be lost
On you,
It’s better off
This way,
You may not
Be able to
Feel the warmth,
However,
Then you won’t
Feel the bitter
Cold either,
No ice or flame
Shall touch you
Again,
Left in a
Heartless wasteland,
Is it really worth
It all?
I’m still not
So sure.
