Taut Ship
Rigid, square jawed in his thinkingNo slacker's wanted aboard
Weakness is for the dead
If you get assigned to his ship
You will work twenty hours a day
Three hour to sleep and one to relax
As for eating, you get one meal
Every three years or so
But the captain eats three square meals
He is properly bathed and shaven
As for the rest, they only bath
When walking the plank
And shave only when flogged
Keep your tongue and work like a dog
Oh, you'd better not faint
From the sweltering heat
Or you will wind up shark bait for sure
