Leaf On Her Nose
That's very odd indeedMy niece is outside
Playing in the yard
Hanging out in a tree
With the leaves and the grass
Then when I look out
I see something a bit odd
She's running around wildly
With a leaf on her nose
Leaf On Her Nose
That's very odd indeedPoetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.
Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
