Flight 21
I sat waiting for my flightAll aboard for Flight 21
To Heaven's Gate, was announced
I thought, how strange
A town called " Heaven's Gate "
I shrugged it off for the moment
Nothing could have prepared me
For what happened next
Mister Eric Barkley please report to gate 777
So I went to check out this little mystery
When I arrived they informed me
That my LA flight had been cancelled
I was being rebooked on Flight 21
My ticket was already changed
Then a few minutes later
Lo and behold my beautiful wife and son
Were there waiting for me too
Both smiling and waving me inside
Oddly enough I wasn't afraid
You see my family had died in an accident
It was beautiful inside
With exactly 21 seats
Enough room to stretch and relax
The pilot announced our takeoff
No seatbelts necessary
Then my wife came over and hugged me
Welcome home dear
Welcome home at last, she said
I wept and wept
It's alright she said
Jesus is waiting for you at the gate
I broke down into tears of joy
Jesus is waiting for me?
Indeed he was and he said to me
Welcome home, well done
My son, my friend, my loved one
