"Hey there"

"Hey there"

Is that a frown upon your face, could you be feeling sad
Or is that the look you always have, when you arent feeling glad
Come take a little stroll with me and we shall look around
And wonder just what things you've missed compared to things you found.
The path of life we chose to take can be narrow or be wide
at times the road is easier with someone by your side.
A wide path makes it easier so that you can look around
Don't stub your toe, we'll take it slow so don't look at the ground.
Loking up is wonderful; like to gaze into the trees
While leaves all rustle gently moved by a gentle breeze.
The colors are magnificent, all the different shades of green
We only look--but don't absorb the beauty that we've seen.
Like the flowers along the pathway; beauty and fragrance all in one
Does this somehow fill your heart, don't you think that this is fun?
We can hear a dog's faint barking in the distant woods and brush
A rabbit's life may be at atake--he must run fast we trust'
A hawk soars silently overhead, not flying ore' the house
because his meal is in the field and might well be a mouse.
If you've grown tired of walking and would like to sit a spell,
I, could share a story of life to you, that I'd be glad to tell
Experience, is a knowledgeable thing and something we should keep
So tackle that tall mountain, tho, if at first it seems too steep.
Hold on tight--Keep a very firm grip and your feet upon the turf
Use all the gifts that you possess, those given you at birth.
Look to the joys around you and don't be afraid to share
Then you will know whereever you go, that Love is everywhere!

A melancholy acquaintance would certainly be put at ease by this comforting counsel. There are times when a breezy reassessment of the really important things in life could do a distracted associate a world of good. It’s always encouraging to be reminded that things are never as bad as they seem. And, I love the laid-back tone. Great stuff, Satch!

uplifting and it sings to me to just sit and watch the sky and listen to the sounds of nature and the beauty yet remembering the struggles life has the rabbit on the run and the hawk on the hunt it's a good poem satch

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
