Miracles
Do you believein miracles, I mean. the way I do?This isn't just a word you know, when something does come true.
We as children, loved it when, our parents let us go,
To see some magic that was done, at our picture show.
With the tall, bearded magician, who wore a long black cape;
His magic wand held close in hand, as we would watch and wait.
He used alot of secret things that he would never share.
Like reaching down into his hat, then pulling out a hare!
He spoke with neat enchanting words, that we had never heard,
But did we ever hope to think, they would produce a bird?
The things of fascination, we were led then to believe,
Tricked by awe, unseen by all, as things tucked up ones sleeve.
But these are not the miracles that I will refer to;
Hidden tricks of deception differ, of what I bring to you.
\when something wonderful touches your life, you know that it is true.
To witness a birth of life itself; that is awesome to behold,
So many things in nature happen, we often must be told.
The things we see we can believe, when, right before our eyes;
Billowy white clouds that are backed by blue, as we look into the skies,
And then the change, at the sight of rain, and darkness all around;
Lightening flashes, and thunder crashes, and hail falls to the ground.
We know about some of these things, since they are realized,
But so Many things are secret, and are hidden from our eyes.
We are creatures born of habit, and perfer things, in their place.
When phenomena reverses normality; you can see it in our face.
The cause and the reason for the tides and seasons, that surround us all,
Was so created, and all related, by the creator, before the fall.
How majestic to the point of awesome, are the things designed for man;
The supernatural, as well as factual, are both used in his plan.
An eternal, unique, miracle, you might,wish to embrace;
Just walk up to a mirror, and take a look back at your face.
