    Miles Away

    MILES AWAY
Ripped apart, like skin from bones
Numbest of feelings, coldest of stones
My wall is collapsing right in front of me
I miss her already, how can this be

I am a grown man, thought I had it all
A grown man with total lack of control
Over his soul, his thoughts and mind
Those piercing eyes that my heart blind

When I see her, I tremble with anxiety
When she touches me, I loose a party of me
I can’t help it, I am no longer tough
I come to realize, I have fallen in love

I can’t bare the thought of being without her
I crave her voice; I need to hear it louder
What have you done to me, don’t go away
Please don’t ever leave, just say you will stay

Would give anything to reach and hold her hand
I’ll give it all to be caught on the path of her eyes
They lift me up high, away from solid land
They make me feel like the luckiest of all guys

If she is a sickness, then I want to be ill
Don’t cure me, don’t give me any pills
If she is hunger, then don’t let me eat
I am in love; I’ve been swept off of my feet

I can write about her all day long
I think of her to the beat of every song
I see her no matter where I look or stare
Even when I close my eyes, she is still there

Ripped apart like skin from bones
Colder than ice, hardest of stones
I want her back safe, right here by my side
I want to be with her, my beautiful bride

    Miss you...

Very good but I found the change of design in stanza 5 disturbing. I.e. the rhyming scheme in all the other stanzas is aa bb. But in 5 it is ab ab. Did you do that om purpose?

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
