ARGUMENT
ARGUMENT
Something said, something done
It is too late; you already opened your mouth
You already expressed your true feelings
Damage is done, you spoke once again
A hurtful word, sometimes worse than a vicious attack
Something you said, something you can’t take back
You truly meant well, but you could not word it right
You suddenly hate your tongue, the one you should bite
Maybe it is you the one that needs medication
So it will take away the pain, the frustration
You look for a quite place to lay down your head
But you answer back once more instead
If words can cut like the sharpest of knifes
You just stabbed someone to death
Your words, so strong, you took away their breath
You managed to change forever your lives
Give me your hand, I am sorry
Feel my heart, you suddenly worry
That we are becoming apart, further away
When trouble comes, you say I won’t stay
I don’t know what to say, maybe you are right
Maybe this was not really a fight
But if that is the case, why did you cry
Why did tears run down your eyes?
Something said, something done
