Verse 2, The tree

Verse 2, The Tree
.
There are so many storms before the dawn
Time hurries on, turn around and it's gone
.
Can you hear the spirits if living a lie
The hopes that live, the dreams that die
.
Go slow now, time to think and be alone
The moon is calling me back to my home
.
Listen to elder ways is time well spent
Trees don't care or make an appointment
.
Old one please take me back to school
I really need to learn your Golden rule
.
If I could only have you by my side
Facing this change, this autumn tide
.
I'll take a nap by this cool stream
I know you'll talk to me if I dream
.
Young one, Each and every rising sun
These days are greeted by a lonely one
.
Each and every heart it seems
Is bounded by a world of dreams
.
Trust in your feelings, it's easy now
There are no more alibies, take a vow
.
Listen, understand that voice within
Do you feel the change, time to begin
.
And if you think that this is alright
Let's turn around and start tonight
