    Thor's day

    .
    Thor's day
    .
By Odins will I sail from the frozen wharfs
Carry Miolner, storm hammer made by dwarfs
    .
I conquered Aiwis with some tricky words
Escaped Freyja's necklace and singing birds
    .
I felt better when I slew the giants of frost
So you heard some tales but most are lost
    .
You demons in Muspelheim have much to fear
Especially when I am drinking lots of beer
    .
Happening long before your time in the past
Don't believe what said, Valhalla doesn't last
    .
This hall's gone shabby and the party is old
By my hammer I was pounded into their mold
    .
Golden hair now they have changed my look
I never dreamed I'd end up a comic book
    .
Yet no hallmark card, I am not surprised
Life can be rough when you are anglicized

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
