    Every Now and Then

    .
    Every Now and Then
    .
The days go by and I just wish
To eat my meals on a golden dish
For different friends, a new nose
Brand new life, kings new clothes
    .
I'd make tomorrow so much better
Give it all up, lets start over
Change the world just do it again
That sounds ok but I don't know when
    .
    Superficial and only skin deep
Voices keep shouting in me sleep
    I'd wish I had a different job
New people with faces for me to rob
    .
Where have all the people gone?
One day leading to another dawn
Get up, go out and do it again
Round and round until the end
    .
And now we're back where we started
Day after day until the last departed
No stopping here, we go round again
Always do I, say where and when
    .
Standing in the middle of this fray
    Lost between tomorrow and yesterday
Wondering how I'll begin or again
No start at inbetween now and then
    .
