Lost in the Wind

Lost in the Wind

.
Lost in the Wind
.
The cosmic engine spins times great wheel
Grinding you and me under it's heel
.
Skeleton souls stretch out across space
Shadow trying to regain their lost face
.
Ghost hurry along to satisfy their fill
Adrift in the void of empty black chill
.
Under cold moons and the burning afternoons
Fragments of the sun dancing without tunes
.
This dust was once life a stream flowing wide
All of us lost in the wind, floating on pride
.
Whirling endlessly looking for a universal sign
Shooting stars of time, fate, and love sublime
.
