    Memories, Of a Friend

    Memories, Of a Friend:
    .
Hello my friend, been a while
Why so sad, where's your smile
    .
What'd you say, is that so
Can't you just let it go
    .
I'll take the weight you just mend
    Well then, let me recommend
    .
    I'll visit them after four
And tell them there is more
    .
I'll smile and shake their hand
Explain to them what's in the plan
    .
I'll look into their blood shot eyes
Tell them it's probably just lies
    .
I'll ask them if they need any more
Or prefer the business end of my 4x4
    .

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
